So, I’ve been reading up on “rogue planets”.

They’re these big planets (as big as Jupiter) that are not tethered to any star, and are roaming around the universe, free to float wherever they want. There are supposed to be as many rogue planets as there are stars in the universe. Can you imagine that? Some asshole planet, 120 times the size of the Earth could bump into us one day. Scientists say that it’s very unlikely, because space is vast, and we don’t know how far it reaches. But think about it, there are 200 billion to 400 billion stars in our galaxy alone, meaning there are as many rogue planets in the Milky Way. Is it really that unlikely?
